Hi all,
This may be the wrong place to ask,but I'm trying to find out which companies of the 66th Armored Regiment comprised the Combat Command A which came to the assistance of the 101st (as depicted in Band of Brothers) during the battle of Bloody Gulch?
The reason I ask is that in Eduard's M4A1 Sherman kit, they include a tank from 3Rd Battalion/66th Armored Regiment (G-2 "Goldie"). They say in the instructions that it fought at Bloody Gulch yet in all the literature I can find the only mention is of 2/66th AR being there as part of Combat Command A.
Any info would be greatly appreciated!

This is the Regimental History of the 66th Armored Regiment...and does give you a break down of where the three Battalions were assigned inside the 2nd Armored Division.
