Hi all,
just for the fun of it, I'd like to build all or most of the modern AFVs named after this beautiful animal and BTW from which I made my callsign.

So far, I'm aware of the Canadian Bison, the US Buffalo, the German Wisent.
I'm pretty sure there are other vehicles I have forgotten or I'm simply ignorant of. Could you please fill the list (with refs of a kit when it exists)?

TIA

Hi Olivier,

I don´t know if there are any kits for this available ... these bisons are not AFVs but very cool military vehicles ;-)

Thanks for the input Walter.
Let's say I will concentrate on armored stuff first, for the sake of my wallet as I fear that most of the ARV and engineer variants are either resin or full kit conversion!

BTW I just checked the German term for bison in my translator and Büffel popped up. So one more to the list.

Didn't the French call M24s Bisons in Viet Nam?

Thank you all for the inputs.

As I mentioned in the original post, I focus on modern vehicles only.
Probably M24s in Indochina could do the trick however I don't know if Bison was an official name or just something used by the crews there.
SA Buffel would be a great addition indeed. In a way, it's the "mother" of all MRAPs.

It would be a hard task, but I will offer you all the possible help, as this beast is on a top position on my "to do" list.
