Hi Gang,
I need the machine gun ring from Italeri HEMTT gun truck. Dont want to get the entire kit because of the ring parts. Is there a way to get the sprue seperatly?

I bought two sprues from their Mid Tiger (the road wheels). You order "Spare" parts from the e-shop and then email to tell them which sprue you need. They will sent the whole sprue, not just the part you need.

Just got a reply email from Italeri Customer service. They send me the instructions of the HEMTT guntruck so that I can tell the sprue. Now looking forward how long it takes then to send me the sprue. Great service anyway!

Good deal. Hopefully it will come in soon. Can you tell me the sprue letter for the bed/crane parts and the sprue letter for the ring mount? I may have to get them as well. Also, about how much do they charge per sprue?

I hadn't realised that you could do this. I've got an M8 Greyhound I started 10+ years ago and completely buggared up the rear suspension,it snapped and then melted with too much glue trying to fix it so it went back in the box at the bottom of the stash until I noticed it last week. I may order the neccessary sprue so I can finally finish it off. Thanks for the heads up.

I had to deal with them on a short shot from a F22 Raptor kit, never again.......they didn't believe me after three emails and 4 pictures later. I then sent them more pictures of the instruction sheet with the part circled that I needed, three weeks later I got vertical stabilizers not an entire fuselage, as I needed.

I was then told I would get 40% off a kit of choosing at a later date, which I had in an email, I then went to order another kit two months..........I get the sorry sir BS, we don't honor emails offering non authorized discounts.

Since that all happened, I haven't spent a dime on a Italeri product. Call me crabby or a prick or whatever, but I had to dick around with them for over 6 months. And the original problem still never got fixed and I never got a kit at a reduced rate.

I'm glad that you guys have had a better experience then mine.

Just got reply from Italeri, the cost for a sprue is 5 to 6 Euro, shipping in Europe. Just ordered it, keep you posted about the outcome.

This "Sprue Service" (for lack of a better term) is TOTAL news to me. I did not realize it could be done. Is this a common practice across the broad spectrum of manufacturers or is it a service that sets apart the good folks at Italeri?

Hope you get your parts quickly. Sounds like you will.

Tamiya also sells sprues. I don't know of any other companies that do, but it is a great idea.

RoG has a department called "Abteilung X" (nothing to do with mystery or Wehrmacht ) for a long time. There you can contact them when a part is missing or broken. BTW I noticed that RoG has some kits in there own webshow, even if the kits are gone from catalog.

For those who want to try:
go to www.italeri.com, then theer is a grren button "Customer Service" in the left row. This button will lead you to a contact message field.
