Anyone tried this combination? Not a big fan of the plastic belt type included in the kit. I've never used metal treads before, but they sure do look nice. I understand they can be a PITA to use.
Thoughts?

Personally, I would not use Fruil tracks to represent double pin live tracks as you will have problems with the angles of the fixed end connectors.
I recommend AFV Club T-97E2 set or if you are a masochist, the Bronco set. Both are plastic and will allow the end connectors to pivot around the sprocket & idler wheels.
The Bronco set has more parts(2x upper & lower pads, end connector/track pin assemblies that sandwiched between the pad parts and then a center guide part that is added to the end connector/track pin assembly) The AFV Club has a single part track pad with a fixed center guide. The end connectors are then attached to each end of the track pads to form the flexibility of the track.

Life is too short to build Bronco tracks imo
AFV club much easier.

Thanks all! I wasn't aware of the plastic ones. Ordered some AFV Club tracks.
