Dear fellow builders,
Yesterday i bought a hobbyboss RSOV and i am planning to make a conversion into an israeli Land rover, used for trooptransport (not the tow-version).
this is what the real thing looks like:
and this is the israeli variant:
Now is my question, can you give me advise about what to converse, what to change to make this a IDF land rover?
And if you have some reference photo's, it would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Did you try the idf modeling site? I'm sure someone there could help you . Also A . E . F designs made these kits they're out of business now but their stuff shows up on eBay still . Good luck

I don't know if you'll fine too much info on IDF Land Rovers considering that they're used by classified units

To be honest you have a good set of photos and you could pretty much work out what needs to be changed ..split wheel rims ,seat positions .ive got the conversion kit from aef and its bit of a hotch potch.

thanks for your help.
The main issue I have is with the rear side of the Land Rover. on the Rsov there is a platform with the mk19, but on the idf landrover there isn't. The point is that on the photo's I can't see what is in the land rover, like seats or stowage or so. So if you could help me with foto's, maybe some photo's of the aefdesigns conversion, it would be greatly appreciated. At the other hand, the front side of the Rsov is very similar to that of te idf patrol land rover. The only things I could see were the rollbars instead of the side plates on the rsov, but i hope i can manage to make them myselve. So the point is that that i dont have enough photo's to see what's in the rear of the vehicle, so maybe you could provide me with some photo's of the rear of the laro.
Thanks in advance,
Ps, you option to buy the aefdesigns conversion isn't going to work, because im just 16 years old and don't have enough money for such expensive conversions
