Hello, where would the Sexton II have served while in the SCC2 / SCC1A paint? Italy or possibly Northern Europe?

Italy or training in UK. Anything in NW Europe would have been SCC15

Thank you for your reply...both Canadian and British units used them in Italy? Do you happen to know if the Dragon kits decals or aftermarket decals are available for a unit in Italy that used the Sexton in SCC2 / SCC1A?

Colour photos of 4 AB SPG's indicate that the combination was still in use in NWE. The painting instructions for SCC15 were specific that no repaints were to be conducted unless necessary and it was only introduced in Apr 44.

I cannot directly link the images but go to this link and type in J.A.H. de Haan in the Photographer field of the search engine. You will get a fantastic collection of Colour Photos of 4 AB vehicles including the 4 RHA Sexton

Sorry but you are incorrect, Look at the Serial first (British), then look up the link I gave and the source, It is 4 RHA attached to 4 AB in Holland in late 44. It is part of a series of photographs from a Dutch Civilian taken in WW2. My understanding is the Candians in Italy continued to use the M7 until they were re located to NWE and switched for Sextons for understandable Logistic reasons.
