I built this as a way to experiment with a monotone finish. Its modulated, tinted, and chipped all done with acrylic, oil and enamel. Now she sits while I contemplate my next steps in weathering.
This was a nice fun build.

Nice job Ian, I really like those trumpeter KV's they are a lot of fun to build. What brand/color paint did you use for this build?

Thank you all!
JSS 8, I do indeed enjoy the Trumpeter KV 1 series, they are a really well thought out kit. I mixed Tamiya XF 73 JGSDF Dark Green with XF 4 Yellow Green in varying ratios to obtain the 4BO color I liked.
marcb, You read my mind sir.

I really like your build here. I am building the same kit for the Trumpeter campaign and will be watching to see if I can pick up any tips.

Nice tidy KV mate. I've got one about 80% finished. Toying with the idea for a simple dio for it to go on.
