I have a larger resin piece that's supposed to be mostly flat, but it's bent towards the middle. If I recall, you an fix this by.... putting the part in hot water and then bending it back in place...?
Any tips on how to best do this?
Thanks!

Can you clamp it down and heat it, with a blow dryer?

I've done this twice before years ago for a musket on a 1/9 scale Confederate and the boom on an M31 recovery tank -- both of which were warped.
I think I may have taped it to a flat surface (piece of wood) and then dropped it in boiling water (I had turned the heat off) for just a few seconds. You don't want to leave it in too long as it will damage the part -- and you can always do it again if need be.
I think I recall reading somewhere though that the water shouldn't actually be boiling -- just very hot.
Good luck.

a hairdrier normally generates enough heat but be careful to do the straightening at one time because some resins are "memory" materials and return to the original warped shape when heated again.

The hot water treatment works, but when the piece has been straightened, soak it in cold water immediately. This will harden the resin and it will hold the new shape.
