Hi everyone,

I want to share with you all my recently completed Pantherturm diorama. I was inspired after seeing the pantherturm diorama in the dust and dirt issue of Tanker Magazine.

I used a picture frame as the base and built up the side with sheet styrene and later filled the inside with floral foam. I then made the cobblestones out of plaster and laid them down one by one, talk about tedious work! The debris came from smashed up pieces of plaster.

Painting was done using Tamiya, Vallejo, and Ammo of Mig acrylic paints. Weathering included products from Ammo of Mig and AK Interactive.

Shells are from RB Models and painted in AK Interactive's new "extreme metal", which, to me, sprayed like Alclad.

The wooden crates came from the spares box and were painted in Vallejo acrylics followed by AK Interactive's wood wash, which gave the wood a warm tone and brought all the various colors together.

Anyways, I hope you all enjoy the photos!

Nice. It resembles the one positioned in Sophie-Charlotten-Platz against 2nd Guards.

Great job, what types of Panther's turrets were used?

I believe modified versions of A & D turrets were used. I have only came across one photograph of a G variant but it was more or less a gutted tank hull along with the turret that was buried. I guess you could say that the G turret was plausable, but the majority of reference photos supports the earlier versions.
