I'm working to convert a T-62 into a North Korean Chonma-214.
Chomas (as NK T-55 and 62) have a KPVT machine gun instead of the DShKM of their Soviet counterparts.
I'm having difficulties on how to find such gun.
T-10M have them, but it is too expensive for a cannibalisation.
Up to 7 of these are available in the set of Russian AA guns made by Meng, and with the sacrifice of only 1 of 4 weapons included into the kit.
It is more acceptable, but still a pity.
Eventually they have included 2 alternative barrels for each gun, so I could use some extra barrels and try to scratchbuild the body of the weapon.
Has anyone any better suggestion on how to find such a machine gun?

I have the Eastern Express Gaz with twin KPVTs. It's lacking in detail and very blocky, but you can have the parts for the price of postage from the UK?

Aber, RB Model and Master Models all make reasonably priced KPVT barrels that can help with your project.

You might have a hard time finding one, but Tank used to make the KPVT MG.

Hi all,
This would be very kind of you. I could always try to improve them, maybe with a barrel from another source.
This could be a possibility.
It's a splendid set, but it would be a waste. I don't think that anyone would sell the mg only, including support and NK aiming device.
Eventually I could ask/suggest the producer to sell the mg separately, it could be used on NK T-55 and T-62 otherwise out of the box.
Does anyone know the email of this producer?
Thank you all.
