Email from AMMO News this morning $86.96 USD for pre order, for the kit only. They are also offering two options for the kit and AMMO by Mig, paint sets. One is a 6 color modern US army, the other is the 3 color NATO set.

Guy's bit of a novice when it comes to the Abrams but would the M1A1 kit be suitable for a USMC tank?

Yes, as long as you use the more modern M1A1/A2 model built as an M1A1 and you swap out the US Army 6 hole smoke grenade launchers for USMC 8 tube launchers (sourced from elsewhere), like below. Other than that, the rest is the same.

Thank you Gino, I've seen a Echelon decal set that should work.

If you are doing a 2003 OIF1 Marine Abrams you will also need to source an MCD from another kit (perhaps the same one you get the smoke discharges from). This was a boxed shaped device in front of the loader. I think most Echelon Detail sheets for the Marines are OIF1.
For added fun, you may want to try and scratch a fuel bladder that the Marines strapped to the turrets during OIF1. A pretty basic shape.
