I guess it's depends wheter the sun cover is factory-made or scratchbuilt
The IbisTek sun cover :
"requires no special tools and mounts directly to existing bolt pattern."
If the sun cover is made with Hesco mesh (just like in the picture you've posted)... I've got no ready answer

That's this type of cover I'm talking about.
It seems to be fixed at the outside of armor panels of the turret but I don't know how.

It seems the camo is simply on top of the factory shade.

Here's a British Army MRAP turret with a similar sun cover. The way it fitted to the turret could be the same as the US one (but I believe the latter is rather bolted to the inner face of the armor plate :

Guess I'm wrong with the factory shade, as mentioned in can be bolted, maybe even welded?

Here's a large close-up that may help...or not

I guess the "spring effect" of the dome-shaped wire mesh should help keeping it in place...

The mesh support is simply stuck, not fixed ?
Found this pic, aN O-GPK turret on a czech MaxxPro. Also no visible fixings.
I guess the mesh could be dangerous if it comes to break.
