Never built a Panther F , but I was looking at the Cyber Hobby one at Scale Hobbyist : https://www.scalehobbyist.com/catagories/Military_Vehicles/panther-f-mit-gummigedampften-stahllaufrollen/CHC00006403/product.php?pg=1&ppp=48&sb=stocknumber&so=a&kw=panther&sc=35
What type of hardware is used on these hatches ?
They slide open like this ? How ?
What does the interior hardware look like ?
I can see the rail in there ... are there any tanks that were fitted with this style hatch ?
It doesn't look like you can open it fully -- that hatch is small enough already .
Thanx

The hatches slide on rails front and back. You can see the front rails in the picture.

Thanks , Randall
But , yeah - they obviously pop up and slide outboard .
I was hoping someone could link to an actual hatch like this or second best would be someone who has this kit and could share the details .
I was really looking for details on the interior hinges , rails and latch hardware .
The interior of the hatch surface itself etc .

Thanks ,
Seems like a pretty simple , robust system .
I imagine they just had a simple latch that grabbed the outboard edge of the hatch ,, with the inboard end being tethered by the sliding hinge .
The only drawback seems to be that it will not open fully .
I wonder if this style was ever in service .
Heh heh -- I almost threw that kit onto my last Scale Hobbyist order just to check it out - - but I have enough plastic here .
And the thing isn't exactly inexpensive
Cheers

Dragons new F kits are over priced, but not as bad as the old ones on e-bay. I got a good deal off e-bay for my second kit, but even then it cost more than it's worth. But, I like the look.
