I thought of doing a BTR-60 for the Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia. I haven't see such pictures, so what types actually were sent in?

Hello long_tom
In the invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1968 BTR-60, BTR-60PA and BTR-60PB were in use. There are also photos from the use of these vehicles in August 1968. Also IFV BMP-1 in the invasion were there.

Thanks for posting those. It gives me something interesting to do with my 60P, as photos of them in other than exercises were pretty thin on the ground when I looked originally.

Thanks. Ironically I bought the DEF Model wheels and painted them. But I'm not going to build a BTR-60P but a BTR-60PA. Reason: I'd have to make and stick a gazillion soldiers into the former.
