Vulcan British Light Mk.VI Tracks

Does anyone know if there are AM tracks for the Vulcan British Light Mk.VIc tank? It seems the kit does not provide enough.

Wait, What ??? I have that kit in my stash. Ugh, this hobby is becoming a pain. Is it worth contacting the manufacturer or will you be greeted with the sounds of crickets. Would AM tracks from the Bren carriers work ?

Hey Kevin, I was told that the ModelKasten tracks for the Universal carrier were correct, so I bought a set. They are hard to find, and I have not built the kit yet, but as I don't need them, you are welcome to the kit tracks if that would help. I Know that they would be tiny, but I wish Fruil or Spade Ace would make a set. With the universal carriers from Tamiya and Riich, and all the Vickers from Vulcan, and the Carden-Lloyd from CAMs all using the same track (if I have my information correct), there should be a huge market for these tracks in metal.

I have built 2 of them and they both had enough tracks.
Maybe yours was missing some.

Oh my next build was going to be the Mk VI North Africa version. Now I gotta go and check!
(Maybe I'll do the Chieftain Mk 5's next - I bought extra Chieftain tracks from Takom to be sure since my Mk 11 came up a bit short! Oh the pain of modelling armour! It gets worse though. I have 2 Fujimi 1/76 King Tigers that I have to build for nostalgia sake really, but the tracks are unusable. Too thick, flexy vinyl and distorted like crazy at the sprue attachments points. I'm gonna get out the Evergreen strip and some thin plasticard and frickin' make my own!)

Well the instructions show 4 large pieces and 13 small pieces used per side. That's everything on the track sprue - no spares!
Are you saying that's not fitting? If not then it IS a problem. Kindly post a picture if possible. Thanks!

Turns out that I used 14 smaller pieces on the one side, but was the only way to get fit. Thus based on that, I am two short on the other side.
Luckily I have another Vulcan Light kit, I will steal the pieces from, and deal with the shortage when I get around to that kit.

You have the rear suspension units on the wrong sides, this is causing the rear wheel to be further back than it should be, hence causing your track problem!

Kevin, I'm afraid it isn't just the rear ones, but all of them... http://panzerfist.com.br/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/Vulcan-BLT-IV-C-copy.jpg
Don't shoot the messenger though...
Hopefully when I get to mine I am now warned...
Cheers!
