Hey fellas. I'm about to start on my Tamiya Nashorn and I was wondering if these were ever fitted with winterketten? Most of the pictures I've seen, with a different track, were ostketten.
Thanks for any help,
Dustin

Hi Dustin,
I haven't found any photo, only a Hummel, but given the dates of production I think it is possible that they carried them.

G'day Dustin
You'll also find that the crew seem to have to reach up quite high to operate the gun. That's because they stood on a layer of wooden ammunition boxes on the floor of the fighting compartment.
Hope this helps.
Regards
Rob

Dustin,
Been googling around and found this -- though I am not sure if it's a Hummel or Nashorn:
Over at Missing-Lynx, same question as yours. No pics, but reference was made to Nuts & Bolts #14. One of the authors confirmed it on the thread:

Cheers,
Tat
EDIT: I was thinking whether the pic was edited by wartime censors, but now am leaning towards that this may indeed be a Hummel

Hey Tat, that's a Hummel with the 150mm.
