Hi;

The Main color is kinda hard to copy; Ive tried Forest Green, which was to Dark IMHO, then I found A Jungle Green which I thought was A Better Match after I Droped A little Gloss Black !! The Biathlon is Fun to Watch as they come up with some really Wierd Colors for the contest.

Simon,

Looking at the picture I reckon that the colour comes closest to 36424, suggest you open this link for tank pic.
https://photos.smugmug.com/Military/ARMYGAMES-2016-Tank-biathlon/i-FrfRRbD/0/XL/TankBiathlon2016Final-10-XL.jpg
and then this one to compare the colours
http://www.colorserver.net/showcolor.asp?fs=36424+36306

I included the 36306 as Vallejo make this colour it is 70987 111 Medium Grey and lighten it some more. The Vallejo Equivalent pamphlet lists Humbrol 72 Khaki Drill as an option and Model Master 1728 Light Ghost Grey (but I feel this colour is way to light and grey)

I feel another option is using Vallejo 70821 103German Cam Beige WWII and lighten this with some grey.
Add a link to compare with the other two
http://www.colorserver.net/showcolor.asp?fs=36424+36306+33303
or Humbrol 72 again lightened with some grey.

To me it looks like one of those colours that they just made up to look groovy.

Hope this helps

David

Thanks Dave, most helpful, I think I'll give Humbrol 72+some grey a go initially and take it from there
