...T-64 BM, T-64 BM2, T-64 U.
I googeled, searched the Web about photos , gained written informations about technical differences but... still couldn`t find out the external differences betwenn them. If I want to build/scratch all versions, what should I consider?
I realize that all versions are quite close to each other... Photos in the web are confusing, since their descriptions vary and I couldn`t extract the real version on the various photos at various websites.
Can anybody help me in this matter?
Thanks in advance!!

I never found info about a T-64M.
The T-64BM Bulat is a Ukrainian upgrade of the old Soviet T-64B,
Initially two upgrade variants were developed: the T-64BM -also referred as T-64U-, and the T-64BM2.
First prototypes of both versions were prepared for the Independence parade in 1999: two T-64BM2 and one T-64BM.
But AFAIK, in the end the T-64BM didn't take part of the parade
So, the T-64BM is distinguishable from the T-64BM2 by the absence of the IR device next to the main gun, and the new wind sensor at the back of the turret replacing the old one -with characteristic "ears"- and the LSD at the commander's hatch: in the T-64BM2 remained the same of the old T-64B, in the T-64U was the same of T-80UD and T-84.
According to some authors of that time, the decision was made to modernize the T-64A and T-64B to the level of T-64BM2, the less deep modernization of the two offered.
Later, the KMDB factory site showed information about the T-64BM "Bulat" -the first time this name appears- modernization of the T-64A and T-64B.
The photographs were referred as T-64U -but in fact the same vehicle as the BM-.
Finally, in 2005, news agencies reported the acceptance of the first 17 T-64BM "Bulat" into service in the Ukrainian Army.
