I'm translating an episode to a show called Homeland.. and one guy says to the other (A career pencil-pusher with his brown nose in my scotch sayin' "Fuck it, drive on")... Now I know what pencil pusher means and I know what brown noser means.. but what does the guy mean when he says "with his brown nose in my scotch".. Could it mean something like.. "a brown noser trying to give me orders".. or "interfering with my business"?
I'd appreciate any help

Not a phrase I've heard before. I'd guess it's about interfering with someone else's private/personal business.

I've not heard it either, but your "scotch" must be your whiskey; so perhaps it means "investigating my leisure activities" or "personal life".

Brown nose ...ie some one who kisses up to his bosses butt, to get a better job/social position.
In my scotch ... my high quality choices.
the combination ..some one who has no personal quality of choice V.S. my superior quality of choices.
(( personally I prefer "MaCallan 18 yr." ))

You guys are reading too much into it. The dialogue is from "Grace", Season 1 Episode 2 of the series. It's not some obscure catchphrase or expression. The character (Mike) said that because the guy (Foster) at whom he directed the comment was, in fact, helping himself to Mike's (guy who made the comment) liquor:
Quoted Text
Foster: Oh. Hope you don't mind, Mike. We helped ourselves to some of your hooch. Thought we would stop by for a..or a situation report on Sergeant Brody.
(sighs)
Foster: Situation report on Brody is this: He's been back three days, and it's gonna take a little more time until he's willing to come out of his shell, let alone his house. The man represents a significant victory in the war on terror, thanks to our friends at the CIA. I'm putting aside for the moment that Sergeant Brody owes them his life. These are the facts: Bin Laden's dead..and America thinks, or wants to think, that this war is drawing to an end. Politicians are pushing for a wholesale withdrawal from Afghanistan. But as we all know, Captain, the terrorists are still out there-- after blood. We need Brody in the public eye, reminding America that this is far from over.
Mike: What if he's not up for it..psychologically?
Foster: f*ck it. Drive on. Isn't that what you Marines say?
Mike: In combat, where we also sh1t in Saran Wrap and shoot to kill. You want Brody to do that, too?
Foster: Don't take that tone with me, Captain.
Mike: Career pencil-pusher, with his brown nose in my scotch saying, "f*ck it, drive on."

Where did you get this script with the characters' names in it? I was sent what is called a "spotting list" with time codes and a bunch of sentences in English without specifying who is saying what to whom!
That solves the mystery.. thanks

Simple. I googled the line and it was included in a full transcript of the episode.

Actually, I did Google the line.. but I just got a couple of other people asking what it meant
It's a b#&ch trying to translate these things blindly without having any context to the dialogue while waiting to get the video to do the actual spotting for the subtitles
Thanks again
Hisham

It's strange, but if I click on the link to Google of any country, I get that Google... but when I click on Google for the USA, I still end up with Google Egypt again
