I've found a few period photos of this truck towing loads but cannot determine if the 1/35 scale kits have a hitch on their sprues. Anyone with a kit handy to take a peek?
Many thanks!
Cheers!

If the kit does not have a tow hitch it should be easy enough to build one. Put yourself in the mindset of a Russian Blacksmith and go from there, "Necessity being the mother of Invention."
Not trying to be glib, not at all, but it should be fairly easy enough to just work up a tow hitch out of scrap plastic or some Evergreen if you have it. (Or steal one off a German car!)

Here's the 1:1 one from Primeportal :
This tow hitch is included in Hobby Boss kit (looks better than the Zvezda one...) :

Checked the instructions for Miniart 35124 GAZ-AA:
The rearmost cross-member of the frame is part Ba22 and it has the opening for the tow hitch and the mounting plate. i.e. everything except the actual hook in Frenchys image above.
Part Ba11 is the spring on the inside of the frame.
The actual hooks are provided as two options:
1. The version shown in Frenchys image, part A56 is the U-shaped fixed part with A81 + A80 providing the "pin"
2. Part A82 is similar to US/NATO tow hooks
Had to dig through the stash to find the proper box

I have everything registered in a spreadsheet where one column is a location code (shelf, horizontal position on the shelf and if it is visible or hidden behind another box)
The "digging" part was to remove the pillar of boxes standing on the floor in front of the shelf, had to move 30+ boxes to get at the GAZ-AA
When my stash exceeded the 200 kits mark I realised that I had to get it organised, especially to avoid forgetting that I already had a specific kit so that I didn't go and buy it again ...
Cheers
