Hi
I started this week Resi Cast conversion of the MkII ARV.
Nice conversion set for a other Firefly.
Its still early fase but want it to share with you.
Doint ask me about the Tamiya transmission house on this one (messed up the Dragon one stupid me #:-) )

That looks like a cool conversion. My only quesiton is - what's going to happen to the sliver of the old turret hole at th front of the tank? The small semicircle between the driver and co-drivers hatches?

uhhhhhhh good question.
And I have take a look on some pictures of the real vehicle and its looks if they have fill it up with concrete or something else.

Ronald -- you are hard-core -- you even have the tracks done before the conversion is really going!

Again, I look forward to your build. Please keep us posted with the good and bad of this conversion. I like the basic look so far.

Hey Ron looking good so far ...You really have got my attention with all these M4 based recovery vehicles ..now I'm going to have to find one of these kits to do...Hey never saw the finished pictures of the last one ...or are you going to paint the two together?? Keep us up to date ! Love your stuff!!

Nice start on that vehicle.
I Don`t know exactly if this is the same vehicle but I have made pictures of a Sherman recovery vehicle in the Wings Of Liberation museum in Best.

Robert -- those are nice pics in the gallery, but they are of an M74, not the same vehicle Ronald is modeling. The M74 was built in the mid-50s on the Sherman M4A3 chassis.
