I'm wondering if there is a good website or book that can show the routes that certain divisions took during the Invasion of France/Belgium in 1940. I've normally seen just big arrows with Corps numbers.
Specifically, I'm hoping to find German units that went from Mechelen to Ostend, Belgium. My grandmother and her family were on the road in May, 1940 fleeing the invasion, and I want to be able to have an educated guess into what units they ran into.
Any suggestions are welcome, I'm happy to do research, but don't know really where to begin

Hi Steve,
Maybe you can find here some clues (I am not familiar with Belgium geography nor had time to read in detail...):
http://home.scarlet.be/vdmeiren/The%20Campaign%20of%20the%20Belgian%20army%20in%20May%201940.html
At the end there are a couple of printed references that could be helpful as well.
Also the ubiquitous wikipedia:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Belgium
Which has as well the order of battle:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Belgium_order_of_battle#German_Army_Group_B
Even if you can get the Korps that were on the route, the order of battle can identify which units were comprised, and then search on their history...
