Recently recieved a set of figures from Max Factory (PLAMAX) of russian tankers that includes a mix of male and female crews. So I got to thinking I know Russia had female crews during the great patriotic war, Israel currently uses female crews and I have seen some propaganda images around of Russian girls crewing modern Armour.
How many countries have and/or still do use female crews in these roles legitimately?

Israel currently uses female crews
There are no female IDF tank crews in active front line units (female AFV/Tank instructors however are widely used).
From "HaAretz":
Israeli Defense Forces decides “No women in Tank Corps”
Haaretz is reporting that the IDF, after extensive field tests to explore the issue, has decided that female soldiers cannot serve in the tank corps. Among the difficulties identified in the tests were physical discrepancies between the women and men in tasks necessary within the combat compartment of the Merkava tank, particularly the loader position. In addition, evaluators examined the level of intimacy required among soldiers who are forced to spend days at a time locked into a small cabin while on operational duty. The privacy of a female combat soldier could at times be severely compromised under such conditions, the IDF found.

Germany is relativly open to female tank/AFV crews. I´ve seen several women commanding vehicles like M113 MEDEVAC. And I saw a story of a female loader in a Leopard 2. But I guss that we won`t let serve women in tanks when the Bundeswehr is on peacekeeping missions.

Recently, the US military has opened all jobs to females. There are a few who are becoming tankers. Here is an article about one of them.
