This is my german schwimmwagen from Italeri. That kit isn't realy good. So I changed a few things by myself. You can see it on the following pictures.

The construction looks fine to me. Give it a dab of paint and it'll be a real beauty.

Looks really good so far, cant wait to see it painted. I had to cut and past each of the pics url's to see them though. Webshots is notorious for this, try http://fotopic.net/ I believe you can direct link your pics and its free as well.

I had to do the cut and paste thing too!
Great job, I like the whole look of those babys.
What did you make the prop-guard from? It looks sort of like metal from a soda can.
Did you use superglue to bond that to the plastic?
