Hello all,
Does anyone, by any chance, know how one might obtain a smooth mantlet for the Dragon King Tiger as well as decals for Tiger 109?

Get some Magic-Sculpt and fill in the area with the cast ring.

I think that's a recipe for disaster. Not sure I have the skill to make that look perfect.

Magic-Sculpt is water-soluble until it hardens.
Follow these steps:
Mix the resin and hardener.
Roll it into a sausage shape.
Press the Magic-Sculpt into the area around the cast ring until it is filled.
Wet your finger and smooth the Magic-Sculpt until it is flush and matches the contours of the rest of the mantlet.
Let it dry.
Lightly sand it down.
Add some casting numbers (you can use the numbers from the sprues by carefully shaving them off with a chisel blade).
Dapple some Mr. Surfacer liquid putty to add texture.
Prime and paint.
It doesn't get easier than that. If it doesn't look right, you can remove the Magic-Sculpt before it dries. Also, use a photo for reference to make sure you do get it right.

I am working with Dragon kit 6303. What I essentially need is the smooth mantlet, but the stepped one comes with this kit.
