Hi,
I've just bought the Hobbyboss T26E4 late production (82428), can anyone tell if this vehicle saw combat and any shortcomings the kit has. Cheers

Only fifty were produced at war's end. They never saw combat and most ended up on various target ranges. A survivor sits at the Cantigny 1st Division Museum outside Chicago.

I think there's another in Italy or somewhere too.

Hi, Thanks that's very helpful. What pershing variants did see combat? Thanks again.

T26E3, which became the M26, WW2 and Korea
T26E4 Pilot 1, the "super pershing" that saw a few month's action at the end of the war
M26A1, used in Korea
M46, used in Korea

All were called the Pershing IIRC.

Roy the M46 was the first Patton tank followed by the M47 and 48.
