With the release of the Amusing Hobby Conqueror, since it is supposed to be a MK I, I was thinking of converting mine (when I get it) to the FV 221 Caernarvon. As I understand the difference was the installation of a Centurion MK II turret to the hull of the MK I Conqueror, which seems like a simple enough conversion. I have a couple of MK V turrets to spare, but besides the main gun, are there any other major modifications that need to be made to the MK V turret to backdate it to the MK II? I have searched the net, but photos of the MK II are kind of sparse, and some I think are mislabeled as MK II's. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check out Accurate Armour, they actually do a Caernarvon kit.

From the pictures and description it seems like a standard 20pdr turret.
