What would be the best 1/35 bergpnther conversion kit if I start with a dragon 1/35 panther Ausf G kit as base?

Hi Chuck, I would get the conversion set by Tiger model designs. It is pricey, and build wise not for the faint of heart, but is the best out there. There is a fantastic build log on this site from a while back. Hope this helps Chuck. Best regards and Merry Xmas.......Dale

Hi Chuck. Really the best is the Tiger models kit. I have a build blog of it under their Axis forum heading. Have a look.

The tiger model design bergepanther is the best conversion but it's for a panther D or early A and i dont know if tiger models still have the kit or if it's out of stock,
A long time ago it was also out a conversion for the G version but i dont remember the brand, but that kit was nice too but out of stock since a long time ago but maybe it's possible to find on ebay...

G'day Chuck

As the previous comments have stated, the Tiger Models conversion is the best. I am currently partway through a Ausf G conversion involving a Verlinden winch, some bits from an Italeri Bergepanther, and a LOT of scratchbuilding.

Consequently I have quite a bit of info on the Berge and will happily answer any questions you may have, which may well be many!

You will probably have difficulty finding the TMD kit, as I believe it is out of production.

Good luck.

Regards

Rob

That's the one. Note the engine deck is wrong, but easily substituted for the kit's engine deck...
