I don't care about the interior, what does it offer on the outside compared to dragon?

You will be able to buy with or without interior and looking at pre-order prices, without interior cheaper than the Dragon kits, and going by the pictures with out the need to buy AM decals for the Schwere Panzer-Abteilung 505th knights as the Dragon ones have them both facing the same way. Unless you what a different scheme that is.

This looks like another winner. We may all have to toss out all those Tamiya and Dragon Tiger II kits.

It certainly may be a winner, but I see no reason to toss out my superb Dragon KT

Beg to differ as mine are both facing the same way and I only have one option in my kit.

Okay, but apparently not all of them as mine were fine.
You didn't say you had a kit, your quote seemed to say "going by the pictures",so I produced mine to show that they were indeed facing both ways.
Maybe a bad set in yours ?

Going by the picture of the MENG kit NOT the Dragon kit which has in my case a set of horses charging in the same direction.
I have two Dragon Tiger II's, Kit numbers 6232 and 6254.
