Marcos,
Did you apply an adhesive foil to the large rotating sight?
I can see a kind of reflectivity on it.

Received my Tiger T-90MS today...All I can say is the detail is something to be seen, it is amazing! This is my second Russian piece with my Meng Terminator being the first, and although the Meng has terrific detail also I think this Tiger kit is a bit better. Both are awesome kits though.

Great build so far!
I have Trumpeter's kit finished and painted and I'm happy with it, but I must say that Tiger's kit detail level is awesome.

Their AMX-30 Brennus kit is amazing too, so I feel confident to expect the same quality in all their offering.

Started with the paint job:

I decided to start with the underside and tracks. once I set the tracks I will set the mudguards. Mask all the underside up and proceed to paint the rest of the tank. I will weather it very lightly as this is a demo/exhibition vehicle.

Can anyone give me a tip on removing masking tape from already painted areas without striping off the paint underneath. I thought of using a hair dryer to soften the adhesive of the tape. Anyone?

Hi;

Peel it very slow & carefully, you are going to loose A lil-bit of paint, but you should be able to touch it up. If you use A hair dryer, you run the risk of melting the adhisve of the tape. A Cotton Bud with warm water run along the edges mite work also.

GOOD LUCK; MIKE.

Nice build going on here Marcos. I have the Tiger kit as well and it is great to see the comparison. Trumpeter appears to have put together a winner and I'm interested in picking that kit up in the future. Keep painting! I'm interested in seeing the finished product.

Better to use low-tack painters tape in the future, like blue tape. More expensive, but less heartbreak at the end.

First look at unmasked upper hull. Some touch up will be needed, but it came out pretty good.

Marcos,

the Trumpeter T-90MS kit (and the Tiger Model T-90MS model) allows you to build the 2011 and 2012 versions ONLY.

So why this cammo pattern?

Grzegorz, I am not sure when this cammo pattern was introduced, but I have seen pictures of what looks like a mod. 2011 (different headlights) in it, except instead of black it has hull red. But the main reason is that I really like this cammo pattern. Take it as a "what if" if it is not correct.

Ok, I forgive you . Here is my tank:

But it doesn't look like anymore. I made some mistakes, used wrong shade of green and I had to wash off the paint.
