Harder for modelers to make accuracy issue claims and more importantly to them, it must be making them money.

Also this release builds on a hull/tracks/running gear they already have tooled, big namey modelers have built/product placement painted them recently, and '46 seems to sell more than between the wars stuff..

Are we at the bottom of the barrel now? Some of the what-if stuff looks decent and seems like natural progression, but this thing looks kind of stupid IMO.

0h gee, not another meaningless exercise in goofy overkill projects! How about an armoured V-2 launcher based on a Maus chassis? See what I mean?

It never got beyond the design stage. The Sturmmorser was said to have competed with it, and eventually got built and deployed.

I love watching you guys get wound up too tight about 46 and paper panzers. Chill, it's not your thing so why bother to come in and vent on these news threads? Maybe start an anti paper panzer thread of your own? gather like minds into one place? maybe the Companies will drop in, read and take take notice ....
And it shouldn't be that surprising as both these companies (although particularly Amusing Hobby) release both paper and whiff panzers regularly. At least Trumpeter mixes them in with lots of other "much more wanted" things.

Don't go there. I agree but they have every right to build whatever they want regardless if it saw the light of day or not.
