This is what Im working on while taking a breather from my Clubmobile dio. Its a kit by FineMolds and a very nice one at that. Im going with a single color scheme since I dont want to mess with camo for a fast build. Also the first time I tried PE and think Im hooked on that now...watch out wallet! Comments as always encouraged!

that is a nice looking tank John. The detail looks nice and crisp as does the figure. What are the tracks like for Quality and is this the same type of japanese tankette as is on the back of the sherman in the pic Kencealot put up?

Hi Cliff, The tracks are of the rubber band variety and I have not tried a fitting as of yet. If they are anything like the rest of the kit they should be fine. Yes it is the same tankette that is on the back of the Sherman in Kens photo.

Cool kit. I like it. Two things to offer. The muffler looks like it has a bit of a seam line running down it (left side). The figures' pose is a bit 'stiff', his left hand doesn't look natural, and the way his thighs are doesn't look quite comfortable of natural from the back. This could be fixed with reposistioning him a bit differently when you're done painting.

Hi Slodder, I noticed that seam also in the pic. I still have the PE cover to put over it so that may take care of it. Not the best figure Ive worked with..I put him there to show scale. Im not sure where Im going to place him yet. Thanks!

Looking good John. That thing is tiny! My Sherman is ready to accept it.

What is the hole in the side of the hull in the first pic? Is there any interior detail? Namely inside the turret? Reason I ask is because if you do not put the figure there, you'll see right into it.

Nice work on a neat little kit. I have this one myself and have been itching to try it out. Can't wait to see this all camoed up. Always good to see WWII Japanese armor as well :-)

Cheers !!

Hey Alpen... This is a great little kit and had a lot of fun building it. Im going to skip the camo and do a single color scheme, rare but it was done. I'll post as progress permits.
