That engine would work fine if it fits a WWII time frame.

Sweet! I love that Type 96! The Compression Engine is an excellent subject, too.

Compression Engine and Electric Cable are suitable for No.1 and O scales, and even larger and smaller ones in the right surroundings.

I wonder how others are getting on ordering from Battlegategames?
Just placed my first order and not going smoothly so far.
Ordered and paid on 14 February.
Ordered 7 items - all showing as In Stock.
Get no order confirmation - nothing at all - except paypal receipt.
Wait 11 days and then email them asking when they will ship.
3 days later get a reply saying they are out of stock on some items and it takes about 2 weeks to restock so I shall have to wait.
Notice the website still says all the items I ordered are in stock except one third-party item (a paint pallet).
So emailed them back, said I have already been waiting 2 weeks, and to please ship immediately everything showing in stock and cancel the pallet. Will see what happens next.

Thanks Colin and thanks also to Jack who replied to my email.
For others thinking of ordering from Battlegategames, their most recent email basically said:
- they are getting lots of orders at the moment
- when it says 'in stock' on their website', it might not actually be 'in stock'
- if out of stock, it takes about two weeks to restock
- took a bit longer than that for me but happy to have now had an email saying my order has shipped.
I'll post back once I get my order.
I appreciate that it's easy for small vendors to get a bit swamped with orders, but hopefully they can keep the stock status accurate on the website in future.
Anyway, good to see someone offering some new and original items and I'll buy more from them if quality is good.

Can understand the AA and the engine and the cable but is there really a demand for a Fender Strat and amp? Can see maybe one or two uses but just seems like an odd choice.

You have to understand some of these items are not oriented exclusively towards military vehicle modelers. I followed an amazing figure come to life on one of the figure modeling websites where the author had to build an electric guitar in 1/35 scale from scratch. This one would probably save him a lot of work.
