Well as mentioned in my review, I am going to build this Sd.Kfz.252 from Dragon. You can find the review here to refresh your memory.

And as mentioned in my review, many of the parts are familiar for those who have built any previous Dragon Sd.Kfz.250 series kits. New in this kit is the one piece lower tub, which makes the first couple of steps a lot easier. As well the kit comes with a full interior, including engine.

The all goes together very well, no hiccups or areas of concern.

Onto the lower body walls, which I should have put more thought into. I glued down the details before mounting and then mounting the tread fendors. Well the fendor tabs into the wall, and well did not look to good. So some putty was needed.

The clamps for the stowage inside are provided with PE, a nice touch. I did add a little piece of masking tape as the sling for the MP-40.

Next I will be moving to the upper hull section, before moving onto priming and painting the interior

A little more work done with the interior painted and ready to button up.

Putting on the upper hull proved to be a little bit of a task. The fit is not the best, needed a little clamping assistance, followed by a little putty help.

Now onto the the outer detail.

With AMPS Nationals over, I am back at the bench, and back to the Sd.Kfz.252.

I managed to get the trailer together, and no issues, the few parts provided, including nice fuse ends for the rounds done in PE.

With the assembly done, priming and painting was completed. I picked up something new to me at the store, Vallejo Premium Retarder with polyurethane, and amazed how well it works with Vallejo Air paint.

I used Vallejo 71.054 Dark Grey Blue over a light grey primer, with a little pre- and post-shading.

More to come soon.
