Hello, I am looking into another King Tiger. I did the Dragon 1/35 kit in the orange box with single piece tracks a few years ago and it was nice. I saw that ROG has a King Tiger in 1/35, the old ICM kit? How was that overall for accuracy and fit? I know it has a multi piece hull but that doesn't bother me, how does it look finished? I am guessing it's a Henschel turret with no zimmerit. Thanks---John

It will be a re-box of someone else's work. Scalemates shows it as an ICM re-box, as you surmised.

There are 6 in-box reviews including two videos. I went through all the research myself about two months ago.

I know at least one of the reviews has sprue pictures and shows the instruction sheet. The kit is nicely molded and well engineered but I passed on it because I didn't like the molded on side skirts.

Yes I saw that the side skirts are molded to the hull. That doesn't make it appealing to me either. I cut and hacked at my Dragon Tiger to piece the skirts as I wanted, this would be a major chore as they are molded on! I think I'll pass also on this kit and take a second look at Tamiya.---John
