I just saw this on Ebay, has anyone heard of this kit before? Sorry that I haven't learned how to post a link yet.

Looks pretty cool to me, though don't know the first thing about Modelland.

Well, the E-bay image is a copy of the S-Model Ram, I'd be wary about what you get...

Here's one I did years ago with some modifications to match a particular tank I had photos of. I used the suspension and tracks from a plastic M3. Easier than trying to assemble the resin parts and track closer to the track on the tank I modeled.

They also make 1/72 and 1/48 aircraft and 1/16 figures.

Did search for GOOGLE search for Modelland Resin kits No company web site
All Modelland military kit boxes on EBAY have pictures of S Model Poland models
Do not know if they are reboxed S Model or knockoffs.
It appears their 1/72 airplanes may also be the same as S Model,

There's a decent comparison of various older conversion sets here: http://panzerserra.blogspot.co.ke/2015_01_01_archive.html . I've not built the S-Models kit but have pawed through the box. Suffice to say I am so very glad I got a copy of the excellent Formations Ram II OP kit! Wee Friends has a conversion kit of the Ram II available through their eBay store. And a Kangaroo as well it looks like.

If the kit is a reboxed or copied S-Model Ram, then run away. It's bloody awful. Too wide, too short and too high, the hull looks very pudgy compared tot eh real thing. The turret is misshaped and positioned wrongly on the hull. The lower hull and the suspension are a direct copy of the Tamiya LEE/Grant, meaning they are too wide by about .100" (2.5mm) and the suspension units are overly simplified.
S-Model reworked their master a number of years ago and fixed a couple of the problems, but added new mistakes. However, if the kit matches the box art, it's the old kit and really, not worth the cost of the box.
Stay away.

Thanks for the info guys, I would like to do the MK 1 with the side door, and I was hoping this was a new kit. Just have to keep waiting I guess. Was the Verlinden kit that bad? I've got an old Tamiya lee gathering dust, and if I could find the Verlinden kit for a good price, I'd be willing to take one for the team and build it, so someone will release it in plastic LOL!

The Verlinden conversion was worse than S-Model and the ancient Lone Star kit was worse again.
Plus, it wasn't just Mk Is with the side doors. The first several hundred Mk IIs also had side doors. The distinguishing mark of the Mk I is the 2 pdr. The first 50 were Mk Is with the 2 pdr and all the rest were Mk IIs with, initially, the short Mk II 6 pdr and then the longer Mk V 6 pdr with a counterweight.

I have the S-model kit & I think I know what the 'S' could stand for...
Superceded!
Very obsolete
Friendship Models (Scotland) have the RAM Mk2 and Canadian Ram Mk2 Series 4/Early Series 5 Gun Tank, Late Series 4/5 without the side door.
Avoid the S-Model derivitives.

Yes, Ian's Rams are pretty good.
One small thing, do not place the spare road wheel on the rear corners of the sponsons, this was only seen on some Kangaroos and not on the gun tanks, all of which had blanket and camo net stowage in that area.
Also, there is no formal (or even informal) "series 4" or "Series 5" demarcation on Rams. I have never seen it anywhere before, so please do not use it as it doesn't really mean anything.

Thanks for the info Paul, I used Ian's nomenclature from his web site....
Perhaps if enough people asked nicely, he would produce one with side doors, as he produced the RAM gun tank after requests....
