What color should Leopard 1 periscopes be painted??? Thanks!

It will depend on which version of Leo 1 you are asking about.
You could simply use black and that would be fine. Some Leopards did have anti-laser coatings on optics giving the periscopes a multi-colour look.
Referring to reference images will help you decide which route to go.

None. They did not have any coatings.

Please be aware though that most Optical systems in armoured vehicles DO have coatings on them to aid the transmission of light. This is sometimes called 'blooming' and can give a 'opalescent' type sheen. This is not anti laser coating.
The best way I've found to replicate this is to fit silver pearl paper (gift wrapping paper) behind the periscope or sight - gives a very good effect.
