Everyone,

It's just under 2 weeks to the next AMPS Great White North show, Friday, May 26 and Saturday, May 27.

As per usual at any AMPS show, judging is one of the most important tasks of all and that takes a lot of volunteers. Every model is judged by a team of 4 judges and that means we need your help.

And because judging is important and because we are asking you for your help, if you sit for two 2-hour judging shifts you'll get one of the cool show t-shirts for your trouble.

As Chief Judge, I'm looking for all kinds of help:
- AMPS Assistant Chief Judges to run shifts
- Certified Judges to maybe step up and help run a shift or to be Table Captains leading a team of 3 other judges
- experienced AMPS judges who would like to lead tables to learn what it entails
- judges who want to have a great time actually judging models

and, of course, new judges who want to learn what it's all about.

Pretty much everyone who has judged at an AMPS show will tell you, it is one of the most enjoyable experiences at a show. You learn a huge amount about model building and judging and you generally meet new potential friends at the table.

If you've never judged before, you're welcome to join in as we ensure new judges are in teamed up with three experienced AMPS judges who know the ropes. In addition, as usual, I will be running an AMPS judging clinic at 3 PM Friday afternoon and, maybe, later in the evening if there is enough interest.

And I have to tell you, judging on Saturday with the sounds of the running real vehicles and the firing of blanks in the background is a pretty cool thing, too!

Please volunteer a little time to help make the show a great experience.
