Hi James,
You've got a beautiful Panther.
Do you happen to remember which mix did you use for the Dunkelgelb?
Regards,
Angel

HI, thank you for your comment.
i also tried to make some mathematical "recipe"
but failled ....
mainly, tamiya buff + dark yellow + dessert yellow
and added many white and some black and
very small amounts of red, and some yellow.
just mix, and test to paper or plastic pannel
and wait till it dry and compare with book->not match-> drop some needed paint more and do it again and do it again and again and again again again and again....
about 7~10 days are taken to be ok for my eyes. ......
sorry, but if i can make a exact recipe someday, i will
inform it
thank you

James,
Your Panther looks really good however, if it was "factory fresh", wouldn't the barrel be painted also? And even though it's fresh off the show room floor, the teeth on the drive sprockets would still show wear, as would the rims on the inner road wheels and the mufflers should have a little discoloration. Other than that, awesome job.

hi,
didn't the barrels remain grey laquars untill it is camoflaged y troops?
(of course, there was also dark yellow color anti-heat laquars)
and i also agonize about the inner rims and teeth when i was building it. but, i concluded that it is too early to be scratched.
or, at least, i wanted clean view.
but... hm... now, after looking at your advice, i also think i shoud have tried some scratches..
thank you for your helpful advice

I believe the barrels were painted at the same time as the rest of the tank.. Other than that, clean is good. Looks great.
