I thought there was a MAFVA drawing for this, or at least for one of the family Index Here but maybe not.
Cromwell Models did the Mastiff, Wolfhound and Ridgeback as discussed in Mil Mod Article in 1/72nd,
I Think I recall* one or two of them were also available in 1/35th... but that might have been the FV432 Bulldog
Good luck
*often wrong though
EDIT: Russian scratchbuild

I try to stay clear of full Resin kits, because of the degradation over time. But conversions seem to endure Ok

HI Todd -
I built this some time ago:
It started as a Kinetic RG-31....no more, as you can see lots of changes happened here....and with some paint:
It is "supposed" to look like this:
I ordered a set of images from Rob Skipper that were very useful.
well...I did say, "supposed to llok like"!! haha fun build in any case - - I'll bet you'd have better luck starting with Cougar kit as a base....You should give it a go - I'd like to see the outcome!
Cheers
Nick

NICK;
Now that is AWESOME That's TITS. I know for a fact it was more intense to convert an RG-31 to 6x6 then it would be to go the Cougar 6x6 route. I'm hoping that I can pull this off. I think the WOLFHOUND and MASTIFF are pretty cool MRAPS. It won't take long in model industry for us to see more. It's the new WAVE.There are more to choose from now then we had in 2008

Haha! Thanks Todd!
I agree that the many MRAP variants make for some really interesting model building. Your idea with the Cougar conversion is something to think about - you're right, my version was a lot of work, and still turned out a bit wonky - while I tried, I never did get the front end to look right. Making me wonder more about the Cougar and my version - the hood/front end looks different...
There also appears to be a difference in the real life picture you show and the real life pic of the SOCOM variant I tried which looks like it sits a bit higher - but, that is sort of hard to say for sure as your version has slat and maybe another type of armor? Or simply a later version - or different base truck. Now that it's been a few years, I don't remember the specifics behind what I built (yes! Embarrassing!! I did the research - haha!) - the bummer that is time!! I forget!!
Anyway, if you decide to go for it, please post your work - I think there are a few of us truck nuts that would like to see what you do!
Cheers

The SOCOM variant is actually different from the UK Wolfhound Mastiff vehicles. 2 different sides of the Pond

Yes - I wondered about that - I just can't remember if there are significant differences between the two....perfect - haha - but, while speaking of interesting UK rides...I've been thinking of converting a Navistar Maxxpro into the MXT-MV....seems like a cool build! I like the looks of the Husky...and have a Maxxpro kit or two sitting here collecting dust! Even if I need the independent suspension - I've scratch built those before....maybe the next build for me??
