My test of the Pegasus Bridge assault. Basic figures are completed

1) One para inspecting the captured German AT gun.
2) A Bren gunner and rifleman providing cover fire.
3) A squad running across the bridge
4) A prone Red Devil covering the flanks

Missing
1) German guards still standing around in surprise unaware that Brits are on the move
2) Depending on the size of the base I select, possible a horsa glider practically nosed up to the AT gun
3) The bridge details

Looking forward to seeing the rest of it Shermie. I once looked at making the bridge for a company that wanted a display piece and damn near scared myself to death.

Yeah Greatbrit, I know it should be a AAA but I don't happen to have one of those kits. The 75mm has been built and sitting on my shelf for about 15 years. Realy doesn't make sense to have an AT gun guarding the bridge until the Allies were on land. Of course on June 5th the Allies were not on land yet.
I'll consider replacing the AT with a AAA later on if I have the funds.

We'll see. At this time I would be satisfied with the 75mm AT if I can figure out a way to fit a horsa glider into the scene. Thanks for the historical data.

In any case I think I found a Title for my dio: Ham and Jam. Ham represents the successfule capture of the Orne RIver Bridge and Jam represents successful capture of the canal bridge. Ham and Jam was the code broadcasted to England when Maj Howard successfully grabbed both bridges.

BTW Jack was the code for unsuccess capture of the Orne and Lard was the code for unsuccessful capture of the canal bridge.
