Yes!! Ever since I saw one of these in a Serbian in Bosnia weapon site back in '96, I've wanted to build one.

Another interesting kit from trumpeter, I really like the decals for the cab interior, but how would it fit in a diorama theme. lay cable, interesting.

The engineering vehicles are great, have long wanted this, then please the transverse version, mdk and an mdk-3 please and i could go on and on.

There goes my self imposed model shopping down the drain! Every time I turn around, their is a more interesting kit coming out. I know, what a wonderful time to build kits, but now I need a new warehouse to put the unbuilt kits in.

I like what I see as this is something useful and has interest and dio potential. More engineering vehicles are what we need and not silly one-offs and napkin-sketch armour!

What was confusing? The image with parts of the bucket wheel on top of the instruction sheet is really confusing.

I wish the drive shaft for spinning the buckets was a rod sliding in the lower section, that way you could alter the position, from stowed to in use.

Thanks Andreas for your compliment. Had no problems with the construction of the model. The accuracy of the parts is very good. I have the next model in progress, the predecessor of the BTM-3, the BTM. Here times photos of the construction of the model.

If the problem is loose fit between parts then maybe you could try to tighten the fit a little ?
If the holes for locating pins are too big you can try to replace the pins with plastic rod (or metal) with larger diameter. Cut off the pin, drill a hole, insert and glue new "pin". If the new pin is too large for the old hole you may need to drill the locating hole with the same drill.
If there are slots and large diameter holes it is sometimes possible to add strips of thin plastic to either the slot/hole or to the pegs/axles/whatever that is supposed to fit tightly in the hole.

Ja, in diesen Punkten, hast du Recht. Es ist ein kompliziertes Modell, habe aber auch die gesamten Teile vor dem Zusammenbau gespritzt, danach hast du keine Möglichkeit noch überall Farbe hin zubekommen. Der Bau die Sache beweglich darzustellen, ist einfacher wie alles zusammen zu kleben. Es lässt sich alles viel einfacher zusammen setzen. Habe jetzt das Problem mit den Schaufeln, erstens habe nur acht und brauche zehn Stück davon. Und das nächste Problem, sie sahen auchnoch anders aus. Das Gute, ich brauche diesmal keine Ketten für die Schaufeln, die sind im Bausatz total vergessen worden. Hast du das Fahrgestell schon zusammen? Wünsche dir weiter gute Bauerfolge.
