This is one more of the tank builds I think I might be finished with. Funny how I cant seem to be happy with any of them yet.

This is one of the last ones I didnt do many pics of before. But at least with my next builds I post that I am working on, I have more pics.

This was the Tamiya #35216 kit. using Vallejo air brush paints and pigments.

I will get better at posting materials used in the future, sorry.

I will be starting another Tiger soon. The Witmann Dragon version next.

Symptom of AMS...

Nice, conservative look. Are you doing your pinwash on flat or gloss paint? The reason I ask is that I noticed some bleeding on the fender seams, and elsewhere.

Nice build,I still think that even though some say the Tamiya kit turret was off, it still built a great kit, only $10.00 back when I built my first one.Actually $9.99.LOL
I know off subject, but it looks good , that Wittmann kit is a collector kit. Some when they first came out were over $200.00 on Ebay if his early Command tank.

Dragon have released three Wittman Tigers already. Two of them are "command" tanks. The "early command" was 6730 and it builds "S04" which is the same Tiger that Kelly is showing us here. Maybe we're not talking about the same kit?

Yes, it is the 6730 Dragon version I will be starting next. I will be going for the winter look for it.

I started with a gray base coat. Then attempts at doing a pin wash. But I am having problems getting the results I wish I could so far. I then did a complete wash over the model using black pigments and then water to thin. And last I used Tamiya weathering brushes to do highlights.

The last models I built before these resent ones was back in 1982. So I have improved since then its seems. But I would say my improvement for sure came from observing others work on the net.

6730 is one fine kit. Consider getting aftermarket tracks.
