Another "Sweet 16"-Kit is done.I started Takoms FT-17 kit shortly after its release and had a quite long hiatus form modelling inbetween. But now itīs done, although not perfect (but when will it ever be...).
I added the Upgrade-Set from "Inside the Armour",containing resin idler wheels, cannon and stowage box.Painting was done with Tamiya Acrylics, weathering with oilpaints and pigments from MIG.
Starting with some pictures from the build itself:
The fit of the side body panels was horrible btw...
And it all resulted in this:
I think it worked out quite well, although i missed out on some things like pin-washing.

The etched box was in the detail set from Inside the Armour, but sadly they wonīt produce anymore.
When i built the kit i was almost desperate to find shells for the ammo racks, but now, after all the painting, sealing, etc. i canīt even remove the turret anymore. The fit was tight on the turret ring from the beginning, but now itīs almost impossible to remove it.So iīll have to pass on the shells...

Posted a link to some more shells too..
I was afraid you were going to say that about the box, I tried when he had just stopped doing them and the site says he has ceased trading, I was hoping you found a stockist with some left... ahh well

Fantastic work!
This is the ONLY model on the market that tempts me to go beyond 1/35th scale. Very much like your choice of the wooden main wheels and your build up of the etched tool box!!!!
