Hello all,
I sighted on the website of Trumpeter they released in previous June/July the T-72B1 w/ Kontact 1 ERA : http://www.trumpeter-china.com/index.php?g=home&m=product&a=show&id=3048&l=en
But they already released in 2014 the T-72B/B1 w/ kontact 1 ERA : http://www.trumpeter-china.com/index.php?g=home&m=product&a=show&id=136&l=en
Is there any real difference between the two kits (except the decals sheet)?

The new kit lacks a lot of sprues which are necessary to build the earlier T-72B.

Hi,
The more recent release is supposed to be a less complicated build (for example frontal ERA is not in single pieces but on larger blocks). Also maybe they have mentioned correcting a few mistakes.
I had the old one, it is abeautiful kit with loads of details and a huge parts count, and since I do not have much time lately I sold it and ordered the Meng kit.
Cheers, Adam
