I'm sorry if this question has already been asked in these forums, but Trumpeter finally released the 1/16 M1A1 Abrams, but it's the M1A2 that I really want to build along with the newer mod T-72. Does Trumpeter have the M1A2 planned for release in 1/16 scale? I don't see it Cyber Modeler's list of future kits.

Trumpeter does have a 1/16th M1A2 SEP listed in their catalog. When or if they are going to release it, I don't know.

It shouldn't be long. The sprue shots show the CITV and the photo etch sheet shows the the screening for the extended bustle rack.

Thanks, I don't mind waiting, as long as it isn't going to be years. Lol I'm not very impressed from what I've seen with the Tamiya 1/16 M1A2 SEP kit. I'd rather wait for the Trumpeter release.

I've got the Trumpeter 1/16 M1A1....will probably get the Tamiya one instead. Would like to get my hands on the extended bustle rack from the Trump A2 kit.
