I was looking at Tiger Models T90 and thinking wow another nice kit. I started thinking about the offerings I had growing up. Aroura and Nichimo 1/48th scale. Then came Monogram, nice! When Tamiya arrived I knew we had reached a penical. How could you improve on the remote controlled SU100? They were the benchmark. Now as I check out different kits there is Dragon, Rye Models, Tiger Models, Trumpeter, Meng, Takom, Tamiya, AFV Club, Academy, Italeri, Panda, and Bronco. There are so many great kits available that I can't build them all. So sad. I built all the Aroura kits, the Monogram kits, and most of the Tamiya kits. But now there are so many good companies and so many releases that I have surrendered trying to keep up. I will never finish my stash. Yet they keep issuing even better kits. What's a guy to do? I have even contemplated replacing kits in my stash that have been improved with better current releases. As you get older you realize that companies sometimes stop making some kits. When you get ready to build, it won't be there, gone. So you just keep adding to the stash. When is enough? I hear the first step is to admit you have a problem. My problem is they need to stop releasing great kits. Let's get back to Imhar and Limberg so I can get this turned around.

In the old days it was possible to get a Tamiya Panzer assembled and ready for painting in one evening.
Yesterday I spent the evening cleaning up less than half of the track links (just the links, not the two pins for each link) for this kit.
I'm counting on two more evening sessions to get the links cleaned and ready for assembly .....
I still don't want to switch back to the old days

I find it rewarding to take random box from the stash, and browse the sprues... So IMHO, keep the releases flowing
