Okay, here are some pics of the next step: washing and drybrushing - the tank is shiny as I sprayed it in Future first (which I smuggled from the US )
numbers are oh so white and still need to settle - at the time of the pics, they were just 'attacked' with some Set fot the second time

drybrushing is with plain panzergelb - on all surfaces, camo or not
side skirts and the turret skirts are scratchbuild from brass sheet - the sideskirts weren;t in the kit and the turret skirts were too neat and too thick...

Nice work on your Pz Kpfw IV ! Its really coming right along. Showing that Pateau figure next to it is a great idea. Nice job on the figure as well ! Are you planning a diorama for this kit ?
