You can always count on Miniart to do every variant of a vehicle they make a kit of.
They followed the design progression of the T-54 and T-55 and now the M3 Lee middle production which is the one from Tunisia? If their T-54/55 is ant indication it'll blow away the Takom.

Great minds and all that. Was one of my thoughts too. Here's some pics in a post from a few years ago:

I'd just wait, at least until they're done releasing their 2018 catalog (they've been doing 5 pages a day all this week). Knowing Miniart they'll do it eventually.

Hi Gents;
"YIIIPPEEEEE"--- This will look great next to my Meng BMR-3. Now all we need is Somebody to start with some ARVs ! FYI; they also made conversion's with the T-62 !
CHEERS; & MERRY X-MAS, MIKE.

I don't want to say I told you so, but...
Having no problem with that
Now how likely is the change they will give us a MTU-12 or 20 in the future??...(never thought it would be possible to see a SU-122-54 in injection plastic let alone a MTU but now...)

Sam.

Never heard of both, the BMR-1 nor the SU-122-54 before, but that SU is a real badass looking beast! Would even make me build a soviet armor kit except my East german vehicles.
But I really hope Miniart releases this KMT-5 mine roller as a separate kit.
Cheers
Thomas

They only built something like 77 Su-122-54 which for Soviet stuff might as well be a one-off prototype. Not sure how many were converted into MTB-3/BMR-1 but the BMR-1 actually saw action in Afghanistan.

Thanks, I never noticed that before. I've got a nice little Op Danube stash started so I'll definitely be adding one now.

Hi All,
Please note I am proposing that if we all move our watches / colocks forward an hour, this will enable Miniart to bring these out sooner......so I can buy them sooner of course!! Lol
All vote by pushing time forward, but if anyone does have an idea re release dates would love to know. 😀
Cheers Mike

I've been tracking Miniart's releases the past two years and I'd guess about 3-6 months from now (going by the T-54/55 releases_...but they have an awful lot of new releases this year...
Once you see a full CAD set with Sprues, it should be out with in 90 days.
