Lordette:
Long time no see. It is good to see you have been busy modeling with your T34 here .
You'll want to tie on that nice storage detail, ie the crates and unditching beam, so the crew doesn't "lose" them on the first big bump :-)
Can you describe how you painted and weathered this one please? You've achieved a lot of color variations for the eye here. Have you used a light green powder of some kind on this?
Steve

Nice beastie you got here. Just as Steve I agree that you should tie the Stowage because it will not be there when the crew needs it.
In my opinion the tracks could use a drybrush with gunmetal this will make them look a bit more life and used.
Further a have to say that you did a nice paintjob on her with the nice subtle Variations of color on the tank itself. Did you do any washes or filters???
Great Job Dave Is it going to be in a dio??

Ok... A. Yes I have been planning ti tie it down, but not yet as I lost an unditching beam somwehere! DOH!
B. It is model master dark green, drybrushed with zinc chromate. I then added a heavy coat of pastels, a zinc chromate yellow color. No filters ar washes were used.
C. The tracks are painted in out of bottle MM rust, then drybrushed with silver.
D. dunno about a dio, maybe, I do have some figs for it.

It was black for a while carl, but I guess it has been swamped with too much pastel.

May I suggest that you mix a little gunmetal with the MM rust. Not to much about three or four drops to tone down the red in the rust color. I do this with a new bottle of MM rust color each time I open a new bottle. I also have a bottle of straight rust that I use as a dry brush over the tracks.

Nice job Dave, I really like the way you weathered a generally bland vehicle. I've got the same kit which I plan to start some time? #:-)
How did you find the kit, do I need any warnings about any fit problems or does it get a thumbs up.

Nice job on your T34 ...I do agree with what the others say about the stowage and the rust color..maybe a wash of rust colored pastels and a dry brushing with humbrols polished steel might help there.. I also noticed that one of your exhaust pipes is sticking out further than the other ,and last but not least ..you should try a very dark wash on the engine screens on the back of your T34 to show that this was mesh and to give it some depth.A quick drybrush after that and it should look more realistic.
